Description

Amboyna Burl is one of the most sought after and expensive of all burl woods.  Amboyna is technically not a distinct species, but is the name of the burl wood from any of the Pterocarpus species. The color and grain patterns jump out at you at first glance.  The color of the wood can vary from the beautiful reddish colors to a more blonde color.  Pens containing both colors can also be found. Pictures cannot do it justice.

This pen is a refillable pen, using Parker style refills and comes with the molded plastic rifle style case.

Please be aware that the pen that is pictured may be slightly different than that which is sold.  Each pen is unique as each piece of wood, as well as the turning of the wood, varies.
